Looks like we?re getting smarter when it comes to back-to-school shopping.
Chase Slate with Blueprint released its third annual survey findings on how shoppers are managing their back-to-school spending and borrowing. The research found that more consumers are creating budgets and sticking to them. More than a third (38 percent) say they?ve set a budget for back-to-school shopping, up from 26 percent last year.
?Consumers have learned a lot of valuable lessons about mindful spending over the last few years,? Chase Slate marketing director Rachana Bhatt said, ?and shoppers will be keeping those lessons top of mind whether they?re buying for school-age kids or stocking up for a semester at college.?
